The Vision

Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue Ranch is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.

What is the vision that inspired the creation of The Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue Ranch? To purchase between 100 acres to rescue, house and care for abused, sick, abandon, or unwanted animals. This vision was brought to me in meditation after hearing about so many people who had lost their homes and had to give up or leave their animals behind.

As an animal communicator, I believe part of my path in this lifetime is to manifest this vision into reality and help save animals.

How will I do this? Fund raising, grants, word of mouth and asking for $5 from everyone I meet.

The first monies raised will go for the purchase of the land, building the kennels, barns and other housing needed. This housing will be as "green" as possible. We're planning to have our own windmill and solar panels to generate most of our own power. This is the first phase of the project and the most important. Once we have this finished, we can start taking in animals and saving lives. Because there is very little, if any, “start up money, I need to raise about $3 million dollars for the first phase of this vision to be completed. That’s just $3 from one million people. Once phase one is completed, we will begin phase 2.

Shirley Scott & Animal Communications The second part of the vision is to have people come to the ranch on a working vacation to help feed, clean up after, walk, love and take part in the healing of the animals – and just maybe the human will receive healing from the animals too! Should a bond be created with one of the animals, adoption would be available. This means housing for the people and about another $2 million to build this housing and make it “green too, which is only $5 from 400,000 people.

This second part of my vision is what would help support the Ranch along with workshops, educational classes and other fund raising events and also grants throughout the years. However, raising the money NOW to purchase the land and build everything will mean a better chance of the Ranch being more self-sufficient and not having to rely on grant money as much in the future.

You may think $3 to $5 million is a lot to raise but most shelters get double, triple or even more than that a year, so with your help $5 million shouldn’t be too hard to do! My national campaign is “$5 from one million people. Won’t you be one of the one million and give just $5?
